People hear the phrase "Drinks are on me" and usually picture a neighborhood bar with a bartender, barstools, and a tab waiting to be paid. But around here, the “bar” is something completely different. It’s a temporary fun filled island that becomes our spot at low tide, it's the sandbar where boats tie together, music and drinks are shared, and strangers become friends before the ice in the cooler has a chance to melt.

The title is a little tongue-in-cheek. Sure, I’ll buy you a drink—but that’s not really what the song is about. It’s about the invitation. It’s about waving another boat over, making room for one more cooler, one more family, one more group of friends, and saying, “Come on over… the drinks are on me.” The sandbar doesn’t care what boat you own or where you came from. If you’ve got a smile, a love for the water, and a little time to slow down, you’ve already got everything you need.

Drinks are on Me celebrates the unofficial community that forms every weekend on sandbars all across the coast. No reservations. No cover charge. No last call. Just sunshine, good music, floating stages, laughter, and the kind of memories that keep you counting the days until next Saturday. If this song makes you invite someone new to your boat or reminds you that the best days are the ones shared with others, then I’ve done my job.

“The world’s best bar is built one boat at a time. Tie up next to us at the sandbar, the drinks are on me.” - Bo
